WHOOP DOUJIN OVERLOAD BEEN AND OVER. : DDDDD Epically late report from me, as expected. Had lots of fun yesterday.

There were so many awesome cosplays this year and I managed to stop a few in front of my table for a photo. : ) All the Pokemon cosplays tickled my inner Pokemon fangirl plenty.

Awesome artists at the event (not all, but the ones I had the strongest memory of):


I spent 15 minutes before the event walking around and managed to blow over $70 on stuff BEFORE the event started. @ @ I bought the first original art in my life from ~Eachy-Peachy which I was targeting before the con. Then when ~Hiyaku-Studio came along I dashed over and wrestled with ~pd-inc for the first copy. (You lied in your journal, I got the first copy! D< You should be nicer to your seniors, Pauline~) Then I found ~matsuo-lenn and I was all, "GAH MY MONEY!" but I had to get one of her art books. ;A; After the rage I sat myself down at my own table and tried to not spend anymore more for the rest of the day. (Which didn't really work.)

We prepared freebies to give to buyers, but kept forgetting to give them so i just took the whole bag of badges and cards and gave them away to all the artists. By the end of the day we managed to give all of them away. : ) I also saw an old family friend of mine exhibiting, which was totally unexpected. 怎么没有跟我讲啊？！ D<

Angela (~wite-lion) and the rest of the DO Band were awesome. I'm hoping to get a video of the performance which I forced ~SilentSeraphim's friend, Tyler, to film for me. Teach me how to sing and we can, like, duet next year, 'kay? : ( (Though I'll probably get rejected. OTL)

My fellow neighbours, ~Rebecca13 and ~fatalis-unus were cool too. Always nice to meet another JE fan! We must strengthen the JE love. Let's fangirl together, ~Rebecca13. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of them, but they were awesome anyway.

A lot of people from school came as well, like Lucy, Victoria, Maya and others. xD Helen (~HMZS01) also had a table and I kept shouting over ~Rebecca13 and ~fatalis-unus's table to talk to her. xDDDDD She gave me a free mini-bookmark too~ I have too many bookmarks now. D: I don't even read anymore!

The sun was extra strong yesterday and was fully trying to kill our eyes when me and ~SilentSeraphim went out for lunch. The GNC hill kills me a little every time. I need to exercise more. = =;

Near the end of the event ~fatalis-unus and I were shouting "ONE DOLLAR PRINTS~" at the crowd, which probably scared more people away than attracted. D:

Overall, it was a fun day, though me and my wallet were both pretty spent by the end. I don't think I made a profit this year (what, with my impulsive buying habits) but it was fun either way. I'll vacuum my back to death for more money or something. = =

Btw, I still have posters and book left over if anyone wants to buy one off me. Maybe something can be arranged. : /

This year's event was a load of fun as well. I really hope I can go next year as well. Let's hope uni work isn't too intense. xD
